We are located at number 87 in Indira Colony, which is a part of the Bani Park neighborhood. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to the main roads nearby, which is nice. The shop isn't very large, but we try to keep it filled with the things people in these houses around us actually use. We have shelves lined with basic groceries like cooking oil, sugar, and different kinds of biscuits. There isn't any fancy lighting or big signs inside. It’s just a plain room with a tile floor that we try to keep clean despite the dust that blows in. We get most of our visitors in the morning when people realize they ran out of something for breakfast, or in the evening when they are heading home. It’s a simple setup where we spend the day unpacking crates and putting items on the shelves one by one. Sometimes we sit on a stool by the door when it’s slow and just watch the people walking their dogs or kids playing outside. We don't do much in terms of decorating. The walls are mostly covered by the products themselves. It’s just a local place for the neighborhood to get their daily needs without having to go too far. We keep a ledger for the regular folks who live on this street. It’s a quiet way to earn a living, just helping people get their grocery shopping done without any fuss or trouble.
