Shree Shyam Aircon

Being over here at Teen Dukan on Sikar Road means we stay pretty busy, especially when the heat starts to pick up. Shree Shyam Aircon is basically just a few of us working on cooling systems and fixing units that have given up. The shop is small and usually has a couple of dismantled AC units sitting on the floor while we wait for parts to arrive. Sikar Road is always noisy with trucks, so we keep the door shut most of the time to keep the dust out. We spend a lot of our time out on calls, driving to different houses or offices to see why a machine stopped blowing cold air. It's not a glamorous job, and our hands are usually covered in grease or copper dust by noon. We’ve been in this location for a while, so the locals know where to find us if they need a quick fix or just some advice on their units. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and we can't get to everyone immediately, but we do what we can. We keep a stock of filters and gas cylinders in the back corner. There’s usually a pot of tea going in the afternoon if things slow down for a minute. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the technical work and making sure the machines run like they are supposed to.
