Sharma Telecom

Out here in Chomu, things are a bit slower than the city, but Sharma Telecom stays plenty busy. We started out small and we're still pretty much the same. People come in for everything. A recharge, a new SIM card, or maybe they dropped their phone in the field and need the screen swapped. We see a lot of familiar faces. It’s the kind of place where you know the customer's name and maybe even what their kids are doing. The shop is a bit cramped because we keep a lot of stock in a small area. There’s a wooden bench outside where people sometimes sit and chat while they wait for their phone to charge or for us to finish a quick repair. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big glossy manual. We just know how phones work and how to help people get back online. Chomu is a good place to be. You get to know everyone. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if a neighbor needs something urgent. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it works fine. We’ve got all the basic cables and chargers hanging on the wall. It’s just a straightforward telecom shop. Nothing more, nothing less. We’ve been here for years and we plan to stay right here, serving the local folks as best as we can every single day.
