Sharma Khad Beej Bhandar

Our shop is out in Panchyawala, right on Sirsi Road. We have been supplying seeds and fertilizer to the local farmers and people with home gardens for a long time. It is a simple place, mostly just big bags of khad stacked up high against the back walls. The smell of the earth and dried seeds is always there when you walk through the door. We know most of the people who come in by their names because they have been farming these lands for many years. We carry what is in season, whether it is for the winter crops or the stuff you plant in the summer. Sometimes we run out of a specific brand of seed, but we usually have something else that works just as well for the soil here. Sirsi Road has changed a lot with new buildings, but our little corner stays pretty much the same as it was. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just show up on their tractors or bikes when they need supplies. We help load the heavy bags into the back of the vehicles if someone is older or their back is bothering them. It is a lot of manual work, moving heavy stuff around every day. We open early because that is when the farmers are out and starting their work. If the weather is bad, it stays quiet.
