Shakun Industries

Our place is tucked away in the C-4 block of Sudarshanpura Industrial Area. If you know this part of town, you know it’s mostly warehouses and small factories everywhere. It gets pretty noisy during the day with all the machines running. We’ve been operating from this spot for years. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. There’s always something being loaded or unloaded at the front gate. We deal with industrial parts and fabrication stuff mostly. The floors are usually a bit oily and there’s the smell of metal in the air all the time. I spend most of my day on the floor rather than in the office because that’s where the real work happens. We have a small team here. Most of the guys have been with us for a long time, so they know the machines inside out. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. People find us because they need specific work done and they know we are here in the industrial estate. It's a straightforward business. We show up, we do the machining or the assembly, and we get the orders out. Sometimes things get delayed when a machine breaks down, but we fix it and keep going. It’s just the reality of running a small industrial unit. We keep the gates open through the day and there is always a pot of tea going for anyone who stops by to discuss a job.
