Our office is located at Thaltara, right off Sirsi Road in the Khatipura area. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, but it’s quieter out here which we prefer. Shakti Ganesh Exports has been operating from this location for several years. We have a decent-sized space where we handle all the logistics and the packing of goods for our customers. There is a lot of moving boxes around and checking lists to make sure everything is ready for shipping on time. The yard outside gets quite dusty when the trucks pull in, especially during the dry season when there is no rain. We have a small team of people who handle the paperwork and the physical labor in the warehouse. It’s a straightforward business. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the products get from point A to point B without any issues. Most of our day is spent coordinating with drivers and making sure the warehouse is organized so we can find things. Sometimes the orders come in all at once and we have to work late to get everything sorted. We usually have tea together in the late afternoon to take a break and talk about the day. It is a solid, honest way to make a living and we have built a good routine here over time. We like the neighborhood and the people around us are very friendly.
