Shaan Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is on Nahargarh Road in Jaipur. It is located near the 5th Chouraha, which is always a very active spot. If you know the Santoshi Mata Mandir, we are right near there. You can hear the bells from the temple sometimes when it is time for prayer. Shaan Beauty Parlour is a place where local women come to get ready for their day or for a special event. Nahargarh Road is narrow and always full of scooters and people walking. It can be a bit noisy outside, but we have our own little space inside. The shop isn't very large. We have some shelves with creams and bottles, and the mirrors are big enough for everyone to see. We do mostly hair and face work. Because we are near the temple, we get a lot of people stopping by on their way to or from their prayers. It is a very old part of Jaipur, so the buildings are close together and everyone knows their neighbor. We don't spend money on big ads. People just see the sign when they are at the chouraha and come in. It is a family-run kind of feel. We take pride in the fact that we have been part of this street for so long. It is just a normal day of work for us.
