Sanvi Beauty Parlour

If you ever walked through the Main Bazar in Sanganer, you know how busy it gets. That is where we are. Our little shop, Sanvi Beauty Parlour, sits right in the middle of all that noise. My cousin and I decided to start this because women in Jaipur need a place to just sit and get their eyebrows done without it being a big deal. The street outside is usually full of cows and motorbikes, but inside it is a bit quieter. We have two chairs and a big mirror that we bought secondhand when we opened. Most days, we just spend our time doing threading or maybe a herbal facial for someone getting ready for a wedding. It is not a huge place with fancy lights, just a basic room with some posters on the wall. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use hand fans, but nobody really minds much. We know most of our customers by name since they live just around the corner or work in the shops nearby. We keep some magazines on the table, though they are a few months old now. It is just a regular local business where we try to do a decent job so people come back next month. You don't need an appointment or anything, just walk in and if we are busy, you might have to wait on the plastic stool for ten minutes while we finish up.
