S V Mobile & Computers

Our place, S V Mobile & Computers, sits at number 97 on the corner where Queens Road meets Sirsi Road. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always a lot of movement outside our window. We spend most of our time looking at screens or opening up mobile phones to see what's wrong inside. The shop is small and can get crowded quickly when more than three people walk in. We’ve got glass counters filled with accessories and some old computer parts stacked in the corner. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We usually have a couple of stools for people to sit on while they wait for a repair. The light inside is a bit bright because we need to see the tiny screws and wires. Sometimes we stay late because a job is taking longer than expected. It’s a lot of sitting down and focusing on small things. Outside, the traffic on Queens Road never seems to stop. We get all sorts of people coming in, from students to older folks who can't get their phones to work. We just talk to them and try to help out. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If we can fix it, we tell them. If we can't, we say that too. It’s just a regular local shop where we try to keep things simple and honest for everyone who walks through the door.
