Rathore Type

We are over at 181 A in Indira Bazar, running Rathore Type. It’s a small space, mostly filled with paper and the sound of machines. Indira Bazar is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of it. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors know us well. People come in with all sorts of documents they need help with. Sometimes the machines get jammed and we have to spend an hour fixing them with ink all over our hands. It’s not a clean job, but someone has to do it. We have a few old chairs for people to sit on while they wait. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking noise, but we’ve stopped noticing it. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us making sure the typing and the papers are handled properly. Sometimes students come in late at night needing things done for the next day. We try to help them out if we can. The shop is a bit cluttered, honestly. There are boxes of paper everywhere. But we know where everything is. We don't have a fancy logo or anything like that. Just the board outside with the name. We just focus on the work in front of us. It’s a steady job and it keeps us busy from morning till evening. We just do our bit.
