Rajasthan Transformer & Switchgear

This is our workshop on VKIA Road No-9, specifically at C-174. We are right in the heart of the industrial area. We spend our time working on transformers and different kinds of electrical switchgear. It’s heavy, dirty work. There is usually oil on the floor and the sound of metal clanking. We fix things that have burned out or build new units when orders come in. The guys here have been working with wires and coils for years. It’s not a place for clean clothes. We have big benches covered in tools and parts that we’ve taken apart. The heat in VKIA during the summer is no joke, especially with the machinery running. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. If someone comes by, they usually just walk into the shed and find one of us. We deal with other businesses mostly, people who need their power systems looked at. It’s all about the technical side of things, making sure the connections are solid and the cooling is working. It’s a practical business. We don't spend money on fancy decorations for the walls. We just focus on the copper and the steel. Some days are slow, just cleaning up, but other times we are working late to finish a repair. It is a bit noisy and there is always something that needs to be bolted down or tested. We just keep our heads down and get the electrical work done right for our clients.
