Raj Mobile

You can find Raj Mobile right near the Sanganer Toll Tax on Tonk Road. It’s a very loud area because of all the trucks and cars stopping for the toll. The dust from the road comes inside every time someone opens the door. I’ve been here for a bit, selling mobile accessories and doing basic repairs. The shop isn’t very large, just enough room for a counter and some shelves for the chargers and cables. I try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, the wires end up in a bit of a mess. Most people stopping here are in a hurry because they are traveling along Tonk Road. They want a quick car charger or a cheap pair of earphones for the long drive. The heat in the afternoon can be tough because the sun hits the front of the shop directly. I have a small cooler that helps a little bit. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit there in the dark until it comes back. I don’t do any big advertising. People just see the sign when they are stuck in traffic at the toll. It’s a lot of work keeping up with all the new phone models that come out every month. I spend my evenings checking what I need to order for the next day. It’s just a regular shop for regular people.
