Raj Mobile Point is a small shop at Tonk Phatak, specifically Shop No 21. If you know the area, you know how crazy the traffic gets near the crossing, and we are right in the thick of it. The shop is mostly just a counter and some glass shelves filled with mobile accessories, batteries, and second-hand phones. We do a lot of recharges and quick repairs like fixing broken buttons or changing out old screens. Because we are near the Phatak, we get all sorts of people dropping in while they are waiting for the train to pass or just passing through the market. It is a very small space, so there is usually only room for two of us behind the glass. We have a lot of old chargers and cables hanging from the ceiling to save on space. Most of our day is spent talking to people about their phone problems or showing them different types of screen guards. We don't have a big fancy sign, just a simple one that people recognize. It can get pretty loud with all the horns honking outside, but it is a good spot to see everything that is happening in the neighborhood. We just keep the shop open late and try to help whoever walks in.
