We set up our little office near the CTS Bus Stand at 165, right by the Jaipur GPO area. It’s a busy spot with buses coming and going all day long, so there is always a lot of dust and noise. We work with farmers from the surrounding villages to help get their stuff sorted and moved to the right places. It isn't a corporate setup by any means. Usually, there are a few of us sitting around a wooden table checking lists and talking to growers who come in from the countryside. Being so close to the bus stand makes it easy for people to drop by when they arrive in the city. We deal with various crops depending on the season, so the office smells different every few months. Sometimes it's sacks of grain and other times it's just paperwork piled up high on the desks. We started this because the local guys needed a place in the city to coordinate their sales and get things moving. It gets cramped in here during the peak harvest times when everyone wants to talk at once and the phones won't stop ringing. The fans overhead never seem to go fast enough in the Jaipur heat. We aren't trying to be anything big, just a hub for the agricultural folks to get their business done without too much trouble. You can find us right there near the GPO, look for the sign that's slightly peeling at the corners near the entrance.
