Puja Telecom Centre

Puja Telecom Centre is located in Shahpura Gram, specifically in the Badijodi area. Our shop is a small room where we help people with their mobile phones and other small electronic things. We spend a lot of time doing recharges for people’s talk time or helping them figure out why their internet isn't working right. The walls are covered with posters for different mobile networks and we have a glass case that holds a few chargers, earphones, and colorful phone covers. It’s a local hangout too; younger guys from the village often stop by to check out the latest gadgets or just to talk. We have a small computer on the desk that we use for all the digital work. The floor is just simple cement and we have a couple of plastic stools for people to sit on while they wait. Being in Badijodi, things are usually pretty calm, but we get a rush in the evenings when people come home from work. Sometimes we fix cracked screens or help someone move their photos from one phone to another. It gets a bit warm in the small space, so we keep the door wide open to the street. We’ve got a small battery backup for when the power goes out, which happens quite a bit around here. It’s just a basic shop where we try to keep everyone connected and handle the daily tech problems that come up in the village.
