Pradeep Mobile

You can find us on Main Sikar Road, right at VKIA Road No-2. It’s a very industrial part of town, so there are always big trucks passing by and making a lot of noise. The shop is small and sits right on the edge of the road. Because of all the traffic, the front of the shop gets dusty really fast, no matter how much we sweep it. I started Pradeep Mobile because I liked working with my hands and fixing things. We have a lot of tools scattered on the workbench in the back. Most of the time, I’m leaning over a phone with a magnifying glass. We sell some basic phones and accessories too, but repairs are what keep us busy. The floor is concrete and has some stains from who knows what. We have an old television in the corner that we keep on for the news, but the reception isn't always great. Customers often come in looking for a quick fix while they are on their way to work in the industrial area. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a wooden bench outside under the awning. It gets hot in the summer, and the little fan we have barely does anything. But we’ve been here for years and people know where to find us. It’s a rough and ready kind of place, just like the rest of the neighborhood here on Road No-2.
