Poppin Organic Cafe

We are up here on the first floor on Ramesh Marg in C-Scheme. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs but it’s nice once you get inside. We started Poppin Organic Cafe because we wanted a place to work that felt okay. Some mornings are slow and you can hear the traffic down on the street while we get the kitchen going. We use a lot of local stuff and it’s usually fresh when it comes in from the market. The sunlight hits the tables in a funny way in the afternoon. Most people who come in live around here or work in the offices nearby. We don’t have fancy chairs or anything, just some wood tables and stuff we liked. Sometimes the coffee machine acts up but we fix it pretty quick. It’s mostly just us three running the floor and the kitchen. We try to keep things clean but it gets a bit messy when it’s busy. You can see the trees from the window. It’s not a huge place but we make it work for what we need. We usually close up when the sun goes down or when we run out of the daily specials. Ramesh Marg is a busy spot so there is always something to look at out the window while you sit there. We just wanted a simple spot to serve decent food without all the noise you find in the bigger malls.
