Poojs Jems & Arts

You can find us at 2173, Chaksu Ka Chowk, which is tucked away in Haldiyon Ka Rasta within the Johri Bazar area. It is a very crowded place, especially in the afternoons when the shoppers are out and the tea sellers are busy. We deal with gems and various art pieces at Poojs Jems & Arts, mostly things we find or get commissioned to do by locals. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful where we put things. There is usually a lot of noise from the street outside, but we have gotten used to it over the years. My grandfather used to sit in this same spot doing the same work. We don't have a big marketing budget or any of that. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or other jewelers who have known us forever. We spend a lot of time cleaning stones and looking at them under the light to see their flaws. It's quiet work inside the shop even though it's loud outside. We have some old wooden display cases that have seen better days. Sometimes the lights flicker when the grid is overloaded, but we just keep working by the window. It is an honest living. We don't try to act like we are some high-end boutique. We are just a local business in the heart of the bazaar. If you walk past the sweets shop and turn left, you’ll see our door.
