Malpani Exports is tucked away in Chandpole Bazar. You have to find your way through Gutya Hanuman Ji Ki Gali to see us. It’s one of those narrow streets where the history feels thick. We are on the Iii Rd Cross, near Khazane Walon Ka Rasra. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time. The walls are old and the floor is stone. It stays cool even when the sun is beating down outside. We spend our days looking at samples and talking to the craftsmen who come by. It’s dusty work sometimes. There is always the sound of scooters and people shouting in the lane. We keep a lot of our stuff stacked up in the back rooms. It’s organized in a way that only we understand. If someone else walked in, they might think it's a mess, but we know where everything is. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day. It helps with the long hours. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and the name. We prefer it that way. Most people find us through word of mouth. It’s a quiet life in a loud market. We just focus on the exports and making sure the quality is okay before anything leaves the door. It's nothing fancy, just a local business trying to do things right in the heart of the city. The door has a heavy iron latch that's been there for decades.
