Radhika Trading Company

Our business, Radhika Trading Company, is located at Plot Number B/41 in the Chandpole Bazar area. We are actually inside Gopal Bhawan, which is one of those old, sturdy buildings you find in these historic market districts. Working in Chandpole Bazar means dealing with a lot of crowds and very narrow streets, but that’s where the trade happens. Our space inside the Bhawan is where we keep our records and handle the buying and selling. It isn't a modern office by any means. It has old wooden furniture and stacks of ledgers that have been there for years. We trade in different goods depending on the season and what our suppliers are offering. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the other shopkeepers in the building. Sometimes we spend more time talking to neighbors over tea than we do actually working. It’s a slow and steady kind of life. We don't use any fancy software or corporate systems; we mostly just rely on our notebooks and our memory. The lighting in Gopal Bhawan isn't the best, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate to our plot, but people find us easily enough. We just keep things moving, one trade at a time, without making much of a fuss about it. It’s how things have always been done here, and we don't see any reason to change it now.
