Our place is over at 61 & 62 in Gangori Bazar which is right near the Jaipur GPO. Being in this part of town means there is always traffic and noise from the street. The building is old like most things in this area but it has enough space for what we need. We spend a lot of time packing boxes and checking orders. It can get a bit messy with tape and cardboard everywhere. We have been here for a good number of years now. The windows let in some light but it’s mostly fluorescent bulbs inside. We don’t really do much marketing or anything like that. People know where we are if they need us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It is a traditional way of working I suppose. We keep our records in big ledgers mostly. The stairs are a bit steep so carrying things up and down is a workout. We see the mail trucks going in and out of the GPO all day long. It is a steady rhythm to the work here. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. Just a local business in a busy bazaar trying to get orders out on time. The floors are a bit uneven but we don't mind it much. We just sweep them and keep going.
