Our place, Parno Vastra Private Limited, is situated at 148 Basant Vihar ColonyGopalpura Byepass. If you’ve ever driven past the bypass during rush hour, you know how hectic it gets around here. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy spot where we handle all our clothing and fabric work. Inside, it's usually a bit of a mess with rolls of cloth and samples lying around on the tables. We don’t really worry about having a polished showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a working space where we get things sorted and sent out. The staff here has been together for a bit, so we all know who is supposed to be doing what without having to talk about it too much. Basant Vihar is a good area, mostly residential around the back, so it’s not as crazy as the main road. We spend a lot of our time checking the stitching or looking over the fabric quality before it gets packed up. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time finding the exact gate because the numbering in the colony can be a little confusing if you aren't from around here. We just go out and wave them down when we see them wandering. It’s just how we run things day to day. We focus on the garments and making sure the piles don’t fall over. The coffee is usually cold by the time we drink it.
