Paniharin Arts & Jewels

Paniharin Arts & Jewels is our shop at Shop No. 4 in the Marwari Bazar. We are actually inside the Rajputna Palace Sherton Hotel on Station Road. It’s a bit of a different vibe compared to the street markets because it’s more contained. We have a lot of jewelry and art pieces that we show to the guests staying at the hotel or anyone coming through the bazar. Station Road is always hectic, but once you step inside, it’s a bit more relaxed. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve met people from all over the world. I spend my day showing different pieces and explaining what they are made of. We don't have a huge inventory, but we try to pick things that look nice. It’s a small shop, so you can see everything pretty quickly. Sometimes we just sit and wait for the train arrivals because that’s when more people tend to walk by the hotel looking for a place to stay or shop. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. If someone likes something, they buy it. It’s pretty straightforward. The Marwari Bazar has its own rhythm, and we’ve just become a part of it. It’s a nice place to work and we enjoy seeing the different types of jewelry that come in from the makers we know. It's just what we do every day.
