Pace Computer Centre

Pace Computer Centre is located right in the middle of the old city area in Johri Bazar. Our address is 1208, and we are in the lane known as Partaniyon Ka Rasta. If you have ever spent any time in Johri Bazar, you know how crowded and narrow these lanes can get. It is a very traditional and historic part of Jaipur. We have been here for a long time, teaching local people how to use computers and different software. We started out years ago when computers were still quite a new thing for most families around here. The building we are in is quite old, just like everything else in this part of town, but we have our lab set up with the computers that people need to learn on. It is definitely not a shiny corporate office with modern furniture. It is a local center where people from the neighborhood come to pick up basic skills or maybe learn some accounting programs. The sounds of the market are always there in the background, like the rickshaw bells and the street vendors. It is a very lively place to be every day. Sometimes the power goes out in the old city, and we just have to wait for it to come back on. We don't have a website with fancy graphics; people just walk in because they saw our sign while they were out shopping.
