Paavni Exports

Down here at 129, Girnar Colony South, along Gandhi Path in Vaisali, we’ve got our little setup for Paavni Exports. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it’s a bit quieter than being right in the middle of a market. We mostly work out of this space, surrounded by samples and shipping crates. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication and checking on everything. We don't have a big fancy sign out front, just the address and our work. The rooms are usually filled with the smell of new textiles and packing tape. We spend hours making sure every item is folded right and the labels are on straight. It’s tedious sometimes, but it’s what we do. We don't have a corporate handbook or anything like that. We just learned as we went along by making mistakes and fixing them. Most of the people working here are friends or family, so we talk a lot while we work. It makes the day go by faster. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, ordering in some food and just pushing through until it's done. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big speeches or fancy brochures; we just want to get the products out the door. It’s a simple business built on just doing the work every day and hoping the people on the other end are satisfied with what they get.
