I've been working here at Shop Number 44 on 100 Ft Road for quite some time now. Jhotwara is a busy place, especially around Bhomiya Nagar where we are located. People come in from all over Jaipur just to get a quick trim or a shave. We aren't a big fancy place with lots of staff. It is usually just me and a couple of others. The shop is small but it has everything we need to get the job done right. I keep the scissors sharp and the chairs are comfortable enough for a twenty-minute sit. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets a bit loud, but we just turn up the radio and keep going. Most of our regulars have been coming here for years. They know where we are tucked away. We don't really do much advertising because word of mouth seems to work fine. If someone needs a haircut, they just walk in and wait their turn. We try to keep the floor swept between customers, though on Saturdays it gets pretty hectic and we might fall behind on that. It's just a regular neighborhood spot where you can get your hair sorted out without any fuss. We don't have any big promises or fancy names for what we do. It’s just basic cutting and grooming. Life in Jaipur keeps us busy, and we're happy to be part of the local community here on this side of town.
