Nidhi Khandelwal

You can find me, Nidhi Khandelwal, over at 937 M.D. Road in Jaipur. It’s a central spot in Rajasthan, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular building where I spend most of my day. I’ve lived in Jaipur for a long time, so I’m used to the heat and the busy streets. I started this business on my own and I still handle most of the day-to-day things myself. It’s a lot of sitting at the computer and talking to people on the phone, but I enjoy the routine. I don't use any fancy management tools or have a big team of experts. It’s just me and a few helpers who come in when things get really busy. We keep our records in files and try to keep the place organized, though it gets a bit messy by Friday. People often ask why I don't move to a bigger place, but this one works for me. It’s easy to get to, and the rent is okay. I’m not trying to change the world or anything. I’m just trying to run a decent business and provide for my family. It’s honest work, and I think that counts for something. I don’t see the need for big words or polished stories about how we started. We just started one day and never stopped.
