We are based over at 1-A Civil Lines in Keshav Nagar, right across from the community centre. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main market area. The office is usually filled with the sound of phones ringing and people talking about data lines or phone setups. We have a lot of cables and hardware sitting around in boxes waiting to be installed somewhere. Most of the work involves keeping things connected. We started out small and stayed in this neighborhood because it’s easy for people to find us. There is always someone sitting at the front desk handling calls while the rest of us are busy with the technical side of things. It’s not a huge operation, just a handful of people trying to keep things running smoothly. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird noise, but we just ignore it and keep working. We see a lot of people from the nearby offices coming in when they have issues with their lines. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; mostly people just see our sign when they go to the community centre. It’s a steady kind of job. We keep a log of all the service requests on a messy notepad. It’s just how we manage things day to day. We don’t have a lot of corporate rules, we just get the work done. The work can be tedious, but it keeps the lights on and the connections working.
