N S Communication

Our shop, N S Communication, is at number 132 in the Nehru Bazar area. It’s a pretty small space, but it’s enough for the work we do every day. This bazar is always packed with people looking for gadgets or getting their things repaired. We spend most of our time behind the main counter. There’s an old glass display case that has some scratches, and a couple of stools for customers to use while they wait. The walls are mostly covered with boxes and different small parts we need. It gets really loud in Nehru Bazar because of all the people and the traffic nearby. We usually keep a radio playing in the background just to have some music while we work. The floor is simple cement and we sweep it every morning before starting. We have a small repair bench tucked in the back corner where the light is better. It’s often covered in tiny tools and screws. Sometimes the neighboring shopkeepers come in to chat for a bit. We don't have a large team, just two or three of us here. It’s a busy life, and we stay until the market closes at night. We’ve been at this address for a long time and it feels like our second home now. Most days are okay, even when it’s busy. We just keep going with the daily repairs and talking to people who walk in off the street.
