Modern Gift

Modern Gift is a shop located in Jhotwara, and we have been here serving the local people for quite some time now. It is a typical neighborhood shop where the shelves are packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of things like toys, decorative items, and household goods. During the wedding season or around festivals, the shop gets really crowded and things can get a bit chaotic. We spend a lot of our time wrapping presents in colorful paper and helping people find something that fits what they want to spend. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful not to knock things over when we move around. We don't have a website or any fancy computer systems; we just use a simple register and write things down in a ledger. Children often come in after school to look at the gadgets and games, which makes the place feel lively. Sometimes the stock stays on the shelf for a while and gets a little dusty, so we have to go around with a duster every few days. It is a friendly place where we chat with the neighbors and know most of the families who live on this side of Jhotwara. We just keep things simple and try to have a bit of everything in stock.
