Mayur Agencies

We are located at 1318 Ajaib Ghar Ka Rasta. It’s a busy lane inside the Chandpole area. Most mornings starts with the sound of shutters opening all along the street. Mayur Agencies has been around for quite some time now. Dealing with all the stock and the paperwork takes up most of our day. The street outside is narrow, so getting deliveries in can be a real headache sometimes, especially when the rickshaws get stuck. We just get on with it though. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and desks. We don't have fancy lights or anything like that. It’s just a place of work. Some days are very slow, and we just sit and talk about the news or the weather. Other days, it’s so frantic we don't even get time for lunch until four in the afternoon. The building is old, like most things around here. It has that particular smell of old paper and dust. People walk by all day long heading towards the main market. Sometimes a tourist gets lost and asks for directions to the museum or the palace. We try to help them out. Working in the old city has its own rhythm. You get used to the noise and the constant activity. By the time evening rolls around, we are usually pretty tired and ready to head home. We just lock up and do it all again the next day.
