Being out here at Maruti Nagar Vistar, we hear the planes all the time since we are so close to the airport. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but it’s quieter in a way, despite the engines. Our building at No. 4B is where all the work happens. We have boxes everywhere and people busy with different tasks throughout the day. Sanganer is a busy place for work like this, and being tucked away in this vistar area gives us enough room to breathe. We don’t have a big fancy entrance. It’s just a gate and then the workspace inside where everyone knows what they’re supposed to do. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a bit of trouble finding the exact lane since some of these roads look the same, but they eventually get here. We spend our mornings checking on what needs to go out and making sure the stuff we’re working on is moving along. The weather gets really hot here in the summer, especially with the metal roof in some parts of the building. We just drink a lot of water and keep going. It’s an honest place where people work hard. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have seen the area around the airport grow up quite a bit. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation for us, nothing too complicated or polished, just making sure everything gets packed and ready.
