Malik Mobile Centre

I’ve been running Malik Mobile Centre near the Jaipur G P O for a few years. It’s a small shop, mostly focused on getting people’s phones back in working order. I see all kinds of problems, from phones that fell in water to buttons that just stopped clicking. My workbench is usually covered in tiny screws and tools. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes with all the spare parts and old boxes. People drop off their devices in the morning and hope to have them back by the evening. I do my best to figure out what’s wrong, but some of these newer models are really tricky to open up. The area around the G P O is always loud and full of people, so there’s never a dull moment. I started this because I always liked taking things apart to see how they worked. Now, I do it for a living. It’s not a big corporate service center, just me in a small space. I sell some second-hand phones too when I can get them in good condition. Most of my customers come through word of mouth or they just see the sign while walking to the post office. I don’t use any fancy software to track things, just a pen and a pad. It is a simple life, fixing one screen at a time. I am usually here six days a week, unless something urgent comes up at home.
