Maharaja Mens Beauty Parlour

This shop is located at B-39 over in Jhotwara. It's a local spot in Shri Ram Ngr Kanta where men come to get their hair cut or a shave. We’ve been at this address in Jaipur for a good bit of time now. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for a few chairs and the tools we use every day. Most of the guys who come in live right here in the neighborhood. They stop by after work or on a Sunday morning when things are a bit slower. You can usually hear the sound of clippers or just guys talking about whatever is going on in town. We don't try to be anything fancy. It’s just Maharaja Mens Beauty Parlour. We have the usual stuff you’d expect in a barber shop. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast when it’s busy, so we spend a lot of time sweeping it up. Some people come in for a quick trim, others want a proper shave with a hot towel. It’s just regular work for us. We know which way someone likes their hair parted after they’ve been coming here for a year or two. The shop sits on a regular street, and it’s easy to find if you know where the Kanta area is. We stay open pretty late most days because that’s when people have time. It’s a simple business and we like it that way.
