Mahachand Panalall & Sons

Mahachand Panalall & Sons is located on the first floor of Malpura House. We are right in the middle of MSB Ka Rasta in Johari Bazar. If you know Jaipur, you know how crowded Johari Bazar gets. The noise from the street never really stops. You hear the rickshaws honking and people shouting all day long. Our office is up a narrow set of stairs that are a bit steep. It is an old building with high ceilings and thick walls. We have been here for generations, so the place has a lot of history. There are old wooden cabinets filled with papers and samples. We don't have fancy modern desks. We mostly use the same furniture my grandfather used. We sit around a big table and talk to people who come by to do business. It is a very traditional way of working. We drink a lot of masala chai during the day. Sometimes it gets so busy in the lane outside that we can't even get a scooter through. We like the energy of the bazar, even if it is a bit much sometimes. We don't use any big marketing tricks. People know us because we have been in Malpura House forever. We just do our work, keep our records in order, and try to stay cool when the summer heat hits the bazar. It’s a very local, old-fashioned way of doing things.
