Madaan Mobile Point

Madaan Mobile Point is located in Jayanti Market on M I Road, specifically at shop G-8. If you have ever been to Jayanti Market, you know it is the main hub for anything related to electronics and phones. The shop is quite narrow, so we have to use every bit of wall space to hang up chargers, cables, and phone cases. It gets very crowded in here when three or four people come in at once. We spend the day mostly repairing phones or helping people understand why their battery isn't working right. There are always bits and pieces of mobile phones scattered on the work table in the back. It’s a lot of sitting and squinting at small parts. The market is always noisy with people bargaining and music playing from other shops. Sometimes we don't even hear the phone ringing right next to us. We have a lot of different brands of screen guards and batteries piled up in the drawers. It’s hard to stay organized when new models come out every week. We just try to keep up with what people are asking for. It’s a busy life in a small space. We take a break for lunch when the market quiets down for a few minutes in the afternoon. Then it's back to fixing screens and selling prepaid cards until the shutters go down at night. Most of the time we are just busy with small repairs that take a lot of patience.
