M P Trading Co

Our shop, M P Trading Co, sits right in Deena Nath Ji Ki Gali, which is a small lane off Chandpole Bazar. If you know Shanti Sadan, we are right there at number 33. It’s a crowded area, but that’s just the way the bazar is. We’ve been trading here for years, dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s a bit noisy outside most of the time with all the rickshaws and people moving about. Inside, it’s mostly just boxes and stacks of inventory. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. We just open the shutters early in the morning and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. Most of our day is spent writing out bills and checking what stock is left on the shelves. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see one of us sitting at the main desk. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. Sometimes we have tea together when things are slow. Trading is basically about knowing who needs what and making sure we have it ready for them. We don't use much technology besides the basic stuff. It's a simple life here in the old part of the city. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the items get where they need to go. It gets dusty, and the alley is narrow, but it's home for us.
