M K Gents Beauty Saloon

M K Gents Beauty Saloon is located at Shop No 6 in Jaswant Nagar. We are right in the Khatipura area of Jaipur, which is always moving because we’re so close to the bus stand. You can hear the horns and the engines all day long from here. It’s a small shop, but it serves the purpose for the men in this neighborhood. Being near the bus stand means we get a lot of travelers who just need a quick shave or a trim before they head out on their journey. The 302012 area is a good place to be, even if it’s a bit crowded and dusty most of the time. I spend a lot of time cleaning the glass because of the road dirt. We have a few old chairs that are still comfortable enough for a haircut. I don't have any fancy signs or big advertisements. People just know where we are because we've been at Shop No 6 for a long time. It’s just me and maybe one other person helping when it gets busy in the evenings. We keep the shop open late because that’s when most people get off work. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so the broom is always in my hand. It’s a honest day’s work in a busy part of Jaipur. Nothing more and nothing less than that. Just a simple gents saloon near the buses.
