Kiran A Family Shopping Center

Kiran A Family Shopping Center is located at 180 Sirsi Road. We are part of the Satyanagar Panchawala area, right in the Murlipura Scheme. It’s a residential spot, so we get a lot of families coming in. The shop is usually a bit of a mess on Saturday mornings when everyone is out doing their weekly shopping. We try to keep a bit of everything because you never know what someone is going to ask for. One person wants light bulbs and the next person is looking for a specific type of pulse or a notebook for their kid. It keeps us busy. We don’t have a fancy team of managers. My family and I run the place ourselves. Sometimes the kids help out after school, though they mostly just end up eating the inventory. We have a few old wooden counters and the shelves are a bit mismatched, but they hold the weight. The lighting isn't the best in the back corners, but we know where everything is. People in the neighborhood know us by name, and we know most of theirs too. We aren't looking to become some massive chain store. We just want to keep the doors open and make enough to keep going. It’s a lot of work and our backs usually ache by the time we lock up at night. But it’s a good way to live.
