If you ever find yourself on Tonk Road, you might pass by where we are. Khatri Telecom is located in Jai Ambey Nagar, right near the Gopal Pura area. Tonk Road is always moving, there is never a quiet moment with all the cars and buses heading towards the city center. Our shop is a small spot where we handle all sorts of telecom needs. We’ve got the usual stuff like mobile accessories and repair tools scattered around. It isn't the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. People stop in while they are on their way to work or heading home. We see students, office workers, and local residents all day long. Gopal Pura is a busy intersection of people and lives, and we are just one small part of that mix. We don't do anything flashy. We just show up, open the locks, and wait for the first customer. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when the shop gets too stuffy. It’s been a good journey so far in Jai Ambey Nagar. We’ve seen businesses come and go on this stretch of Tonk Road, but we’re still here doing our thing. It’s just honest work, helping people stay connected with their phones. We don't need much more than a working light and a few customers to keep the day going. It is a simple way to spend the day, and the tea from the shop across the road is pretty good too.
