Kanha Creations

We’ve got our shop Kanha Creations over on the third floor of S-21, right across from R.K. Lawn on Shipra Path. It’s in the Mansarovar area of Jaipur, specifically near Vijay Path. Being on the third floor means it’s a bit of a climb, but it keeps us away from the direct noise of the street traffic below. We do various types of clothing work here. The space isn't huge, but we’ve managed to fit in everything we need to run things properly. You’ll usually see us surrounded by samples and rolls of cloth. It’s a busy little spot most days. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that. Most of our visitors are people who already know we are here or were told by someone else in the neighborhood. Mansarovar is a residential and commercial mix, so we see a bit of everything. Opposite R.K. Lawn is a good landmark to give people when they get lost looking for our building. We handle the daily tasks ourselves, from talking to workers to checking the finished pieces. It’s not always glamorous work, especially when the elevator isn't working right or when it’s peak summer heat in Jaipur. We just focus on getting the creations finished and out the door on time. It’s a simple business run by people who live nearby. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy for us to get to and it feels like home.
