Kalinga Art'S

We have been here at Nehru Bazar for a long time now. It is a busy spot right across from Mahavir Park. My family started Kalinga Art'S because we really enjoyed making things with our hands. It gets quite crowded in Maniharon Ka Rasta, but we like the energy of the street. We have a small shop, number 1135. Most days, we just focus on the work right in front of us. It is not a fancy place, just a workspace where we keep our tools and the pieces we have finished. People stop by when they are walking through the bazaar. We do not do much advertising at all. Usually, someone tells a friend about us, and that is how we keep the business going. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, but we just work around it. There is a lot of dust from the road, so we spend a good bit of time cleaning the shelves. We try to keep the pieces organized, though it gets messy when we are busy with a big order. It is just how things go when you are actually making stuff yourself. We like being part of this neighborhood because it has a lot of history. Most of our neighbors have been here as long as we have. We drink tea from the stall nearby and chat with other shopkeepers when things are slow. If you are looking for us, just find the park and look across. (259 words)
