Kali Jewel Art

We're over at the Bairathi Complex, shops 23 and 24. Most people know Chameli Market on M. I. Road, so we aren't hard to find if you're in the area. Kali Jewel Art is where we spend our days working on different pieces. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the foot traffic around here. We’ve been at this for a bit now, just focusing on the jewelry and art we make. The shop isn't huge, but it fits everything we need to get the work done. Some days it’s quiet, other days we’re rushing to finish things. We deal with various designs and materials, mostly just trying to keep up with what people are asking for lately. It’s a local business through and through. We open up in the morning, set things out, and see who comes through the door. M. I. Road is a good place to be because of the history of the market. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, just a few of us here making sure everything looks right before it goes out. If you’re walking past the Bairathi Complex, you can usually see us working through the window. It gets dusty sometimes with all the construction nearby, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and focus on the jewelry. It's a living and we enjoy the process of making things by hand.
