K. K. Export House

Running K. K. Export House from the Sitapura Industrial Area keeps us on our toes all day long. Our unit is H-1-378, which is pretty close to Chatralay Circle, so we hear the trucks and the traffic constantly moving back and forth outside. The building is mostly filled with boxes, packing materials, and the items we are preparing to send out to different places. It’s not a fancy office with carpets and expensive art; it’s a working space with concrete floors and high ceilings to keep the heat away. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure everything is packed tight so nothing breaks during the long journey ahead. The air in Sitapura is always a bit dusty because of all the construction and factories nearby, but you get used to it after a while. Most of our days are spent on the phone or talking to the drivers who come to pick up the shipments. We have a small corner with a desk and a computer where we handle all the paperwork, which seems to never really end. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait it out, which is just part of being in this industrial zone. Near Chatralay Circle, there are a few places to grab a quick snack, which is where we usually go for lunch. It’s a busy life focused on logistics and timing, and there is always another crate waiting to be filled and taped up.
