People around Murlipura Scheme know our spot over at C-207. We have been sitting here at Jyoti Communication for a good while now. It is a small place but it stays busy most days. We mostly deal with mobile recharges and fixing those little issues people have with their phones. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we try to keep things tidy enough. If you walk past the GPO area, you will see our sign. We keep a few basic handsets in the glass case and plenty of screen guards. It is not some fancy showroom with bright lights and coffee machines. It is just a regular counter where we talk to neighbors and help them get their SIM cards working. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic go by. Other days, three people come in at once wanting data packs. We just do what we can. The fans hum all day and we keep a diary for the accounts. It is simple work, really. We know most of the folks who live on this block by name. They stop in for a quick chat even when they don't need a recharge. That is just how it is here in Jaipur. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening lights come on.
