If you’re ever down near Ajmer Road, you’ll find us in the Taigore Nager Market area. We’re tucked away near Salimar Bag on Chiterkoot Marg. It’s a lively part of the city, and there’s always something going on outside the doors. We’ve been selling saris here for quite some time. The shop is filled with different fabrics and patterns from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space for all the stock we have, but we manage to fit it all in. Customers usually come in looking for something specific for a party or a family event. We spend a lot of time unfolding and refolding the saris so people can see the full designs. It’s a lot of work for the arms, but that’s part of the job. My family has been in this trade for a while, so it’s just what we know. The market can get pretty loud, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they look at the different options. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning, but we have enough fans to stay cool. We try to keep a good mix of things so there’s something for everyone.
