Our shop is at No. 4540 Kbg Ka Rasta, right in the heart of Johari Bazar. If you know the bazaar, you know how busy it gets with shoppers and tourists walking by. We’ve been here for a while, dealing with gems and jewelry. Our space isn't huge, but we have enough room for our display cases and a couple of stools for people to sit on while they look at pieces. The lighting in here is bright so we can see the stones clearly. We spend a lot of our time looking through loupes at different gems or helping someone pick out a ring. It’s a lot of talking and showing pieces back and forth. Johari Bazar is a noisy place, but inside our shop, it’s a bit quieter. We get to know our neighbors well, and we often have tea together in the afternoons. Sometimes people come in just to ask about a stone they found or to get something cleaned. We do not have any of those high-pressure sales tactics. We just show what we have and let the jewelry speak for itself. The floor is old tile and the door creaks a bit, but it’s home to us. Working with gems is a slow process, and we like it that way. Every piece has its own look, and we enjoy seeing what people are drawn to. It’s a traditional way of doing things, and we don't see any reason to change.
