You can find us over on Church Road, just a short walk from the big revolving restaurant on M I Road. It’s a pretty easy landmark to find, which helps because the traffic on M I Road can get really confusing for people who aren't from around here. We’ve been at Janak Nandini for quite a few years now. The shop isn't huge, but we’ve managed to pack a lot into it. It always feels a bit cluttered, but we know exactly where everything is hidden away. Most of our days are spent just dealing with whatever walk-ins we get. We don't really do any advertising. We figure if people like what we do, they’ll tell their friends. It’s a bit of a slow way to grow, but it feels more natural. The building we’re in has seen better days, and the plumbing can be a bit temperamental sometimes, but we like the location. It’s right in the middle of everything. During the festival seasons, the whole street lights up and it gets really lively. We usually stay open a bit later then, just to enjoy the atmosphere. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most days. We keep things simple and don’t try to be something we’re not. It’s just a regular shop run by regular people who care about what they’re doing every day. We don't need things to be perfect to be happy here.
