Jaipur Haat

Jaipur Haat is tucked away inside the Sh. Dadu Sanskrit College Campus on Moti Dungri Road. We’re right near the Ganesh Ji Mandir, so there’s always a lot of people and energy in the area. Our shop isn't a modern mall outlet; it’s a more traditional space that fits in with the college campus surroundings. We handle a variety of local goods, things that reflect the craft of Jaipur. My mornings usually start with dusting off the shelves and checking what needs to be restocked. We get a lot of students and devotees passing by, so there’s always someone poking their head in to see what’s new. It’s a small operation. Most of the time it’s just me and a helper keeping things running. We don’t have a big corporate strategy. We just try to have a good selection of items and keep the place welcoming. The location is quite special, being on a college campus with all that history around us. It’s a bit cramped with all the inventory, but we manage. Sometimes the bells from the temple next door are so loud we can't hear the customers, but we don't mind. It’s all part of the atmosphere here. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in the city. We’re just happy being here on Moti Dungri Road, serving the people who come our way and keeping the business going day by day.
