Jaipur Blue Pottery Art Centre

We've been here near the Jain Mandir on Amer Road for a while now. It's a busy spot with all the traffic heading toward the fort, but we manage just fine. People usually come by to see the blue pottery we make right here. It is a specific kind of work that takes a lot of time and a steady hand. We do not really rush things around here because the clay and the natural colors need their own pace to set properly. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty and the shelves look crowded, but that is just how it is when you are working with ceramics all day long. Most of the pieces are sitting out in the front, and we try to keep things organized, though it does not always stay that way during the busy season. It is mostly just us doing the daily tasks, making sure the furnace is the right temperature and the painting is neat. You can find us pretty easily from the main road. The neighbors know us well enough. We do not have a big fancy sign or anything, just the workshop and the front area where we keep the finished items. Usually, someone is around if you walk in, though we might be in the back working on a new batch of plates. It is quiet work most of the time. We use the same methods that have been used here for many years.
